Lab Technician

The Lab Technician is responsible for all aspects of the test laboratory operation to include:

  1. Receiving samples for blast testing from customers and Sales
  2. Performing blast test, completing blast test reports.
  3. Maintaining and retaining control samples as required for future reference.
  4. Maintaining test lab log.
  5. Maintain test lab in a neat, orderly fashion.
  6. Servicing and maintaining lab machines for optimum performance

The ideal candidate should have an electrical/mechanical background. This is an entry level position with plenty of potential for growth!


Electrical Controls Engineer

The Electrical Control Engineer is responsible for all electrical control systems for new machines as well as upgrading controls for existing machines. Responsible for schematics, panel layout, bill of material and PLC programming. Also, design specification, generate required electrical prints and schematics, develop work layouts and write PLC logic. Must be proficient with Allen Bradley RSLOGIX 500, 5000, HMI software, proficient in Auto Cad, NEC and NFPA 79 electrical specs. Familiarity with SCADA, Wonderware, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and ABB and Fanuc robotic systems a plus.

  1. Minimum Associate's degree in engineering in electrical.
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years experience in new product design and support, preferably in the custom equipment industry.
  3. Ability to interface effectively with customers and sales team on design project requirements and feedback.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, without sacrificing deadlines.
  5. Proven experience as a self driven problem-solver who excels in a dynamic work environment

Engineering Assistant

The Engineering Assistant will research, write, maintain, illustrate and publish high-quality documentation and online content assuring that the material is assessable and available to our customers. Will be responsible for preparing documentation for the manufacturing floor. This may include creating part numbers, uploading Autocad files and/or scrubbing existing bills of materials. Will organize and maintain the engineering library, and keep engineering masters current. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing environment. This candidate will be familiar with engineering "Bills of Materials", customer-drawing approvals and "as built" archiving of the job folder. A minimum of a 2 year degree would be desirable and one year of experience


Machine Operator

Responsibilities: Set up, maintain and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.

Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in Machine operating. Set up, read, adjust, and operate basic machine tools. Blueprint reading, CNC programming and operating experience a must.


Sales Assistant

The sales assistant / administrative position is utilized for assisting sales, marketing, and the president. These duties include and are not limited to:

  1. Data entry, update and maintaining of customer information into sales ACT! Database
  2. Prepare initial response package of product literature to mail / email / or fax as required.
  3. Prepare customer correspondence
  4. Review sales cost analysis work sheet and prepare Visual Manufacturing quote
  5. Prepare formal quotations
  6. Maintain internal Microsoft Word document and Excel spreadsheets
  7. Prepare travel arrangements
  8. Miscellaneous filing
  9. Order office supplies
  10. Other duties as assigned

The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft word, excel and have some knowledge of ACT! Software. Would prefer a candidate with at least 5 years experience in an administrative role. Manufacturing experience a plus!
