ENHANCED MEDIA RECLAMATION
As a result of Guyson’s extensive work in automation of production blast processes and our deep involvement with precision blasting applications that require a higher level of control to meet exact surface engineering requirements, Guyson has developed numerous optional reclaim features and specialized adaptations of the media delivery and reclamation systems.
Based on your surface quality requirements, work flow considerations and the manufacturing environment in which the blast equipment will operate, Guyson engineers configure the media reclamation and delivery system to include only those capabilites that are necessary to support your process specifications and validation or compliance concerns.
These enhancements to the media reclamation and delivery system include, but are not limited to the following:
- SCADA capabilities to acquire process data and help you document significant blast process parameters related to controlled supply and delivery of blast media, as specified.
- Reclaim features to strictly control the sizing of media by precisely screening 100% of the material extracted from the blast chamber before it is recirculated to media delivery.
- Electronic sensors and fault indicators to detect low and high media levels and display the media supply condition.
- Reclaim features to automatically add media to the system before low media supply could compromise the integrity of your blasting process.
- Sensor and fault indication of a full dust collector drum.
- Features to remove ferrous contaminants from the media reclaim system.
- Sensor detection and alert of insufficient reclaim air flow that could interfere with conveyance, reclamation and delivery of shot or grit media.
- Abrasion-resistant ducting to combat the effects of harsh grit media on essential conveying parts of reclamation system, including the cyclone and the dust collector.
- Detection, control and documentation of moment-to-moment blast pressure to each blast gun or blast nozzle.
- Sensors and fault indications of full classifier scrap drums.
- Detection and control of media flow to each blast gun or nozzle throughout the process cycle.
- Bucket elevator media reclamation for shot or grit that is not suitable for pneumatic conveyance and cyclonic separation.
- Multiple media reclamation systems that separate and deliver two or more media
