Multiple machines performing the same process or different processes are often grouped in an efficient work cell layout and tended by a single material handling robot. In this example, 3 twin spindle grit-blast machines are kept in continuous unmanned operation by a Fanuc M-710iC/50 robot equipped with 3D vision and custom end-of-arm tooling with ID and OD grippers.
