This compact work-cell-sized blast machine model has become very popular for relatively low volume or single-piece-flow production. A component is fixtured on the spindle or table and rotated at controlled and adjustable speed as it is exposed to the blast from multiple blast guns or pressure-blast nozzles, which may be adjustably bracketed in fixed position, oscillated or mounted on a horizontal or vertical linear actuator for programmable motion according to the process requirements of individual parts.
